Period of hire Weekly bookings run from Saturday to Saturday. To allow us time to prepare the barn between guests we ask that you arrive no earlier than 4.00pm and depart no later than 9.45am. However, if at all possible we will try to flexible.
Bookings Provisional bookings made by telephone or e-mailare held for 7 days. A letter of confirmation plus the required deposit should be received by the end of that period in order to secure the booking. A separate security deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking. This is returned upon a satisfactory inspection of Meadow Barn within 7 days. If any damages have occurred, these will be deducted from the security deposit total. The letter of confirmation constitutes a legal contract of hire between the hirer and the owners. If your balance is not received by the due date, your booking will be regarded as cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited.
Cancellation In the event of a cancellation we will endeavour to re-let your booking. If however we are unable to secure a replacement booking the hirer will be liable for two-thirds of the total hire charge. We therefore strongly recommend that visitors take out Holiday Cancellation Insurance.
Number of guests The number of visitors staying in Meadow Barn must not exceed the agreed number stated at the time of booking. The maximum number of guests at any one time to sleep in Meadow Barn is 6.
Pets Due to the close proximity of the farm and livestock, we regret that we cannot accept any pets at Meadow Barn.
Smoking To maintain the high standard of our accommodation Meadow Barn is totally non-smoking, any parties found to be smoking within the property at any time during their stay will be asked to leave immediately.
Deep Fat Fryers Please be aware that deep fat fryers are not allowed to be used at anytime in Meadow Barn.
Candles Please be aware that candles are not allowed to be used at anytime in Meadow Barn, either inside or outside the premises.
Damage and breakages The hirer is responsible for any damages or breakages that occur during their stay.
Behaviour Although the privacy of our guests is paramount, the owners reserve the right to enter the barn at any time should this be necessary and also reserve the right to ask hirer and their party to vacate the barn if their behaviour is deemed unacceptable.
Care of property Guests should take all reasonable care of the property, its furniture, pictures and fittings and are asked to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition.
