Period of hire

Weekly bookings run from Saturday to Saturday. To allow us time to prepare the barn between guests we ask that you arrive no earlier than 4pm and depart no later than 10am. However, if at all possible we will try to flexible.

Bookings

Provisional bookings made by telephone are held for 7 days.
A letter of confirmation plus the required deposit should be received by the end of that period in order to secure the booking.
The letter of confirmation constitutes a legal contract of hire between the hirer and the owners.

Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation we will endeavour to re-let your booking.
If however we are unable to secure a replacement booking the hirer will be liable for two-thirds of the total hire charge.
We therefore strongly recommend that visitors take out Holiday Cancellation Insurance and a form will be included with the deposit receipt details.

Number of guests
The number of visitors staying in the barn must not exceed the agreed number.

Pets
Due to the close proximity of the farm, we regret that we cannot accept pets.

Smoking
Meadow Barn is totally non-smoking and if any parties are found to be smoking during their stay they will be asked to leave immediately.

Damage and breakages
The hirer is responsible for any damages or breakages that occur during their stay.

Behaviour
Although the privacy of our guests is paramount, the owners reserve the right to enter the barn at any time should this be necessary and also reserve the right to ask hirer and their party to vacate the barn if their behaviour is deemed unacceptable.

Care of property
Guests should take all reasonable care of the property, its furniture, pictures and fittings and are asked to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition.
